Dr. Hatim earned his PhD from Universiti Utara Malaysia (the No. 1 public university in Malaysia). His doctoral thesis was recommended for the ‘Best Thesis Award'. Dr. Hatim is recognized as an HEC PhD Approved Supervisor. He has vast experience in teaching, research, co-curriculum, and extra-curriculum activities at the national and international level. For instance, he has served as Head of Department at the School of Integrated Social Sciences, University of Lahore. He also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant (G.T.A.) and Graduate Research Assistant (G.R.A.) at Universiti Utara Malaysia. Furthermore, he has served as President of the International Students’ Society, Universiti Utara Malaysia. He is also a member of the Asian Institute of International Affairs and Diplomacy (AIIAD), Malaysia. Additionally, Dr. Hatim is editor of an HEC recognized journal titled "Journal of Public Policy Practitioners". Recently, he founded the Governance and Society Club at UMT.
